Hollywood stars John Cena and Jason Momoa will star in the new comedy series Killer Vacation.
According to sources, the pair met on the set of the sequel to the Fast and Furious franchise and are set to have a natural chemistry for another film.
Those familiar with John Cena's project have been compared to exciting epic adventures like True Liars. Mark and Brian Gunn wrote the script for The Killer, and John Rickard and Peter Safran will produce the project. The film was packaged and produced at the studio before Safran was cast with James Gunn at WB's DC Films division.

Momoa is of course a staple of all DC, having appeared as Aquaman in several films. He is set to portray the King of Atlantis in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Momoa also recently starred in another Warner Bros. release, Dune. Safran is a producer on Aquaman.

John Cena appeared in Suicide Squad and the HBO Max spinoff Peacemaker (the flashy white dance sequence is a highlight of this or any TV season). Saffron and Gunn are very involved in all things Peacemaker, with Gunn creating the character for Cena and thinking about it after all.
Cena will star in Freelance, an American action comedy directed by Taken's Pierre Morel.
